Background
Present in Uganda since 1955, our client is working in Exploration Area 1 (EA-1) and Exploration Area 1A (EA-1A) within the Albertine Region. A significant portion of these areas lies within the confines of Murchison Falls National Park. Export of the crude oil pipeline is made from Lake Albert to the Indian Ocean coast. in 2016, our client was awarded three production licenses by the government of Uganda, with field oil expected in the year 2020.
